MHB RINK GUIDELINES
Below are the updated guidelines for the Minot Hockey Boosters effective December 14th, 2020 in accordance with the State of North Dakota's Smart Restart guidelines.
● All Minot rinks will be adhering to the 25% capacity limit. Brian Bauman, Program Director, will be point of contact (POC) for any capacity issues during MHB games.
● All Players/Coaches/Managers are required to wear masks in the rink and locker room. Masks for players can be removed when entering the ice. Coaches are still required to wear masks on ice.
● For the safety of all of our players and coaches MASKS are required for all Spectators. Please practice Social distancing throughout the rink as much as possible.
● All Mite and Learn to Play skaters are required to come to the rink dressed. There will be no locker rooms for Mites and Learn to Play.
● Players must bring their own water bottles. No sharing of personal items.
● If you are not feeling well, please stay home and do not come to the rink. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported-ranging from mild to severe illness.
*List of possible symptoms associated with COVID-19, as described by NDDOH, include but are not limited to:
Fever
Cough
Difficulty Breathing
Loss of taste/smell
Sore throat
Body aches
Headache
Chills
Diarrhea
Nausea

Ice Hockey, the fastest, and arguably the most exciting, team sport in the world, is played right here in Cape Town at the new Olympic size venue, the Ice Station – Grand West Casino complex. We cater for all age groups. The Western Province Ice Hockey Association controls the sport in the Western Cape and has four member clubs. They are the Sharks, Rams and Eagles and a ladies team called the Devils. They all play in the WPIHA league from February until October of each year. The ladies however play as a Devils team against visiting ladies teams and not as Devils in the WPIHA league.
MONDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT IS HOCKEY NIGHT!
All league games are played on a Monday and Thursday night. Visit the WPIHA web site http://www.wpicehockey.co.za/ for an update on game schedules and results. Spectators are welcome at a nominal fee. Seats are unreserved, so get there early to get the best view of the game.

Every year, more and more players from the Western Province, from under 12 to Seniors and Ladies divisions, are selected to represent their country. We are affiliated to SA Ice Hockey Association and the International Ice Hockey Association (IIHF).
Imagine having travelled to countries like Bulgaria, Spain, Mexico, Yugoslavia, Iceland, Romania, Czech Republic, Korea and Hungary to play in World Championships and tournaments as they have. Playing in the snow for the first time, snow boarding and skiing.
2018 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III Qualification
South Africa won the 2018 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III Qualification on home ice in Cape Town after beating Chinese Taipei in two tight games.
